ESAFORM

In 2021, ESAFORM board chose to promote a Diamond Open Access approach (no publication fee) by using PoPuPS platform developed by Uliege library staff. There is no cost for ESAFORM 2021 participant and a minimum cost for ESAFORM association. 
 

Started in 2005, PoPuPS platform is strongly supported by Uliege authorities. Rectors have changed of course since 2005 but this action is in the long term. ESAFORM 2021 choice promotes a sustainable solution as it can be extended to next ESAFORM conferences after evaluation, letting ESAFORM proceedings being hosted always by the same platform, so easy to find back.

The cost reduction secures ESAFORM resources for new initiatives (Benchmark, sustainable website, and ? send your suggestions) as well as former ones (Mobility grants, Support of proposal Grants, Prizes).

Authors' visibility will be guaranteed as the articles published under licence CC-BY will be referenced in Google Scholar, Scopus, and usual search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, the index discovery of Primo Central and Summon... In addition to a DOI per article, an ISBN will identify ESAFORM 2021 proceedings.

In addition to usual ESAFORM proceeding articles, some MiniSymposium’s coordinators will propose to coordinate special issues with extended version of your articles. Currently MS13 ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING already agrees to coordinate a Special Issue in Metals or Materials of MDPI, other MS are still discussing the matter.

Each participant can  only  present  one article  and  without  the  registration  of  the  presenting  author  the  paper cannot  be  included  within  the  proceedings.
