Thesis award 2020

The 2020 AIM best thesis award winner is Benjamin Laugraud for his PHD thesis titled « Motion-aware temporal median filtering for robust background estimation  ».

It is the 6th edition of this award of 3500 euros created in 2014.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, we weren’t able to organise a live presentation.

The AIM best thesis award was given to Lampros Papangelis for his PHD thesis titled « Local and centralized control of multi-terminal DC grids for secure operation of combined AC/DC systems ».

He received his prize on 8 November 2019.

Alumni evening 2019

AIM is organising its Alumni Evening on November 8, 2019.
