The next CIRED conference is announced, we are going to Madrid (Spain) on 3-6 June 2019.

The preparations are underway. The AIM team is launching the promotion, the first step is our stand D01 at CIRED 2017 exhibition in Glasgow (UK).

Big success for our 2016 alumni evening with 300 participants.

The event was held in the prestigious Ballroom of Crowne Plaza Hotel.

In parallel with its alumni association role, AIM’s core business is organising scientific conferences launched by the academic and industrial worlds.

AIM can provide relevant expertise and experience in the organisation of your scientific event in Belgium and abroad, from 50 to 1500 participants.

Since our last general assembly (March 24, 2016), our association has welcomed a new general chairman, Didier Bassleer,  for a 4-year term.

He has been involved in our board of administration since 2002 and is now working as Engineering and Supply Chain Manager at CE+T Power.

He replaces Alain Belvaux who was our president from 2008.

During our last general assembly, an important function of our board of administration appointed. We welcome our new general secretary, Guy Lourtie, active in the board since 2004, who works for FANC (Federal Agency for Nuclear Control). He replaces Emil Galetic who was in charge of this function.

The 23rd CIRED conference (International Conference and Exhibition on Electricity Distribution) organised by the AIM broke all participation records.
CIRED 2015 gathered 1287 attendees from 61 countries,  110 exhibitors and 500 visitors.

CIRED 2015 conference is approaching.

Every 4 years, the AIM organises an international conference and exhibition called CIRED (International Conference and Exhibition on Electricity Distribution).
The next edition will be held in Lyon (France) from 15 June.
We are now entering the final rush for the organisers with more than 900 participants already registered and more than 100 confirmed exhibitors.

A record number of proposals were submitted to CIRED 2015. The submission deadline is now over and we are happy to announce that we received 1636 proposals of papers for CIRED 2015.  The abstract selection was finalized on November 3 and 832 proposals were selected.  CIRED 2015 conference will be held on June 15-18 2015 in Lyon (France).
