Oral presentations

Each oral presentation will be given 10 to 12 minutes for presentation + a few minutes for questions. Presentations must be made in English.

Presentation file : PowerPoint and Pdf files will be accepted. The organisation laptop will be used for projection.

Authors are requested to bring their presentation file in Liege. They can give it to the technical assistant at the welcome desk before their slot and at the latest during the last break before their session. 

 


Poster presentations

 

4 poster sessions are foreseen :
Session 1 (S01 and S02a) : 9 September, 13h05-13h50
Session 2 (S02b + S04 + S06) : 10 September, 13h20-14h15
Session 3 ((S02c + S03 + S05a-b-c) : 11 September, 13h20-14h05
Session 4 (S7 + S8 + S10 + S11) : 12 September, 13h10-13h55

We recommend that authors are present in front of their poster during their poster session. You can of course also present your poster during the rest of the day.

Set-up and dismantling: 

You can hang your poster up on the day of your poster session from 09.00 hrs.
Please remove your poster from the panel by 16.00 hrs on the same day, as we will need to install the next session and, on the last day, we will need to remove the panels. 
Material to hang your poster (tape) will be provided. 
Poster session will be held in the hall in front of the conference room, your poster number and title will be indicated on the panel dedicated to your poster. 

Poster size :

The panels will be vertical 0.97 x 1.20 m, we recommend portrait A0 printing  (0.841 × 1.189 m).

 


Important remark

We inform you that each participant can present maximum one oral and one poster.

Each paper must have at least one author registered by 21 June 2019 in order to confirm the presentation of the paper and proper inclusion in the conference programme.  If not confirmed at this date, the committee reserves the right to propose your slot/poster to another author. 


 

GQ 2019 special issue

As announced earlier, a GQ2019 special issue will be published in the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology (Elsevier). Conference participants selected for an oral presentation at GQ2019 have now the option to submit a manuscript related to their presentation to this JCH special issue.

Deadline : 15 March 2020

This can be done as follows: 

1. Access the journal using the following link: http://www.evise.com/evise/jrnl/CONHYD

2. Click on the menu "My Author Tasks"

3. Click on the button "Start New Submission"

4. In the menu "Enter Manuscript Information", use the Issue dropdown list to choose the article type " VSI: Groundwater Quality 2019"

5. And then continue the submission procedure following the indicated steps.
